Mission: Advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

BRANCH PURPOSE
The purpose of this branch shall be to unite the alumnae of colleges and universities accredited for practical educational work; to concentrate and increase their effectiveness in the community for the solutions of social and civic problems; to participate in the development and promotion of the policies and programs of the American Association of University Women; to contribute to its growth and advancement; and to cooperate in its state and regional work.

EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
The AAUW Educational Foundation has a long and distinguished history of advancing educational and professional opportunities for women in the United States and around the globe. Each year the Foundation provides about $400 million in fellowships, grants, and awards for outstanding women.. Community action projects The foundation also funds community action projects and pioneer research on women, girls and education.
LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP
Linda Hughes – Chairperson
The EF/LS Chair is in charge of the Christmas luncheon and branch donation to the Educational Fund and is responsible for disbursing scholarship funds to local colleges.
